On August 20th, the Global Launch Conference of "Kunming · No.1 City for Inbound Consumption in South and Southeast Asia" was held at the Wanda Realm Chenggong Kunming Hotel. Chen Kaijie, Member of the Standing Committee of the Kunming Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor of Kunming, attended the conference and delivered a keynote speech. He pointed out that Kunming has both hardware foundations and policy advantages for building a regional international consumption center city, and outlined the strategic blueprint and implementation path for building the "No.1 City for Inbound Consumption in South and Southeast Asia" from three aspects: creating more high-quality consumption scenarios, promoting the integration of brand and culture, and fostering a high-quality business environment.
As a key ceremony for Kunming to build a new regional consumption IP, this conference attracted over 250 guests, including leaders from relevant departments at the provincial, municipal and district levels, representatives of business districts in the city, international luxury brands, local characteristic enterprises, financial institutions, representatives of Yunnan Provincial Commercial Offices in South and Southeast Asian countries and relevant industry associations, inbound tourist representatives, as well as domestic and foreign media influencers. All participants jointly injected new impetus into the upgrading of Kunming's inbound consumption.
